Your Personal Infrared Sauna Session
At Glow Eyesthetics, we believe that every moment should feel like a spa retreat. Indulge in a one-hour experience designed to leave you floating on cloud nine. Your session begins with a soothing 20-minute massage in our state-of-the-art zero gravity full-body airbag massage chair. This chair scans your body to ensure it targets all your pressure points, while you sip on a selection of aromatic, calming teas.
Once you're fully relaxed, your esthetician will gently guide you to our Medical 6 Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna, where you’ll enjoy a deeply restorative 40-minute session. Our advanced sauna technology features Full Spectrum heaters that provide a complete range of infrared waves—near, mid, and far—unlike typical saunas. This ensures optimal skin penetration and enhanced light therapy, leaving you not only more relaxed but also feeling healthier and rejuvenated. Experience the ultimate in infrared therapy and let every session with us enhance your well-being.
Dos and Don’ts for a Safe and Relaxing Experience
Oils and Fragrances: Please refrain from using oils in the saunas. Kindly avoid spraying any perfume in your suite.
Towel Use and Cleanliness: To ensure comfort and hygiene, towels are provided for every session. Please use a large towel underneath you at all times while in the sauna.
Towel Disposal: After your session, kindly place used towels in the designated laundry bins as you leave your suite.
Footwear Policy: Please remove all footwear before entering the sauna.
Heater Use: Do not pour water on the heaters, as infrared saunas are designed for dry heat therapy.
Post-Sauna Hygiene: We strongly recommend showering soon after your session to remove toxins from your skin. You may continue to sweat for up to an hour, so we’ll provide a cool, wet towel to help you wipe off excess sweat.
Electronics and Noise Etiquette: To maintain a tranquil and healthy environment, we ask that all cell phones be turned off or set to silent, and conversations be kept quiet before entering the suite. Using electronics during a sauna session may heat the device; Glow Eyesthetics is not responsible for any damage.
What to Wear (and Not Wear) to Your Infrared Sauna Session
Optional to wear gym clothing or bathing suit. For women, a robe is provided as an option to wear inside.
Bring loose, comfortable clothing to change into afterwards, as changing into tight clothes can be difficult due to sweat.
Prepping for Your Infrared Sauna
Pre-Sauna Eating: To avoid discomfort, it's best not to eat a full meal before your sauna session. A general guideline is to avoid eating for about an hour prior.
Detox Reactions: Detoxification may cause sudden symptoms like dizziness, nausea, or fatigue for some people. If you experience these, exit the sauna to cool down and hydrate. While most people don't experience these symptoms, if you feel unwell during your session, consider the following:
Leave the sauna and drink more water.
Add electrolytes to your water before and during your next session.
Shorten your sauna time during your next visit.
Hydration: Staying well-hydrated before, during, and after your sauna session is crucial. Along with fresh water, consider an electrolyte drink or mineral supplement. Please note that glass and open containers are not allowed in the sauna; we recommend using a steel insulated water bottle.
Substance Use: The use of illicit drugs or alcohol before or during your sauna session can lead to dizziness or unconsciousness and is strictly forbidden.
Session Duration and Comfort: Sauna sessions typically last 15-30 minutes. If you ever feel too hot or uncomfortable, remember that you have full control—feel free to open the door to cool down. The experience should be soothing, rejuvenating, and enjoyable.
For the Elderly: As people age, their ability to regulate core body temperature decreases due to circulatory issues and reduced sweat gland function. Therefore, we recommend limiting sauna sessions to no more than 15 minutes at a time.
For Children:
Children under 10 are not permitted in the sauna unless prescribed by a doctor, in which case sessions are limited to 15 minutes at lower temperatures and must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
Minors aged 11-14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for 15-minute sessions at reduced temperatures.
Teens aged 15-18 can use the sauna alone with signed parental consent.
